What "research use only" means and who may buy from us.

All Pinnacle Science Labs products are for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not for use in people or animals, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. These products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The buyer is solely responsible for how these products are handled and used.
What research use only means
Our products are supplied for laboratory research, analytical and educational use only. They are not for use in people or animals in any way, and they must not be sold or given to anyone for that purpose.
Who can buy
Qualified researchers aged 21 or over, and people buying on behalf of a research laboratory, institution or business. You need an account to order, and orders ship only within the continental United States.
The confirmation we ask for
Before you enter the Site, we ask you to confirm that you are 21 or older, that you are a qualified researcher or buying for a research organization, and that our products are for lab research only. At checkout you confirm again, and agree to our Terms & Conditions and this policy. We keep a record of your confirmation and agreement with your order, so we can show who we sold to and on what basis. We may ask for more information to verify it.
What you may not do
- Use any product in people or animals, or supply it to anyone who will.
- Give false information about your age, your research or your organization.
- Describe our products as having any effect in people or animals.
What we don't do
- We don't give advice on how to use, prepare or apply any product.
- We don't sell any equipment for use in people or animals.
- We don't make claims about what any product does, and no one is authorized to make such claims for us.
What we do
We publish the certificate of analysis (COA) for each batch, which states its identity and purity, and the storage instructions on the label. Whether a product suits your research is for you or your institution to decide.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for handling, storing and disposing of our products safely and lawfully, for making sure anyone who handles them is trained to do so, and for following your institution's rules and all applicable laws.
Wholesale customers
Wholesale accounts are only for research laboratories, institutions and businesses that supply research materials to them. A wholesale customer that supplies others must hold its own buyers to the same research-use limits.
When we refuse an order
If we believe an order is intended for use in people or animals, or if we can't verify a buyer's eligibility, we will cancel the order and refund it, and we may close the account and refuse future orders. Where we suspect misuse, we may share relevant records with the authorities.
